    FAQs

The purpose of N2F is to show the most disadvantaged people that they are loved. Many people sleep hungry each night, feeling forgotten by society. This initiative does more than just provide food; it nourishes the soul by reminding recipients that they are not overlooked and encourages donors to feel a sense of duty in both receiving and giving. The ultimate goal is to motivate these individuals to develop skills, uphold moral and ethical values, and contribute positively to society.

The decision to focus on feeding through the N2F program stems from South Africa's challenging political and socioeconomic landscape, marked by crime, poverty, and limited access to fundamental human rights like education and utilities. Having lived in South Africa for over 16 years, Swami Abhedananda recognized these social issues and the impact they have on the community. His compassion led him to believe that feeding people, a basic yet profound act of care and love, should be the starting point for the Nourish to Flourish initiative. This focus on feeding addresses a foundational need, as hunger underpins many other social problems—without food, education suffers and the pressure to commit crimes for sustenance increases.

The choice of South Africa as the location for this program is because CMSA is a South African organization. Its mission focuses on assisting South Africans from all backgrounds in adopting value-based living.

The name "Nourish to Flourish" was chosen because it encapsulates the program’s dual goals. "Nourish" reflects the primary aim of providing physical nourishment, while "Flourish" signifies the broader and more significant goal of helping individuals thrive and become positive contributors to society.

Donors to the program can enjoy several benefits:

    - It provides a platform for expressing gratitude for the blessings in their lives.
    - Their contributions can have a multiplier effect within a well-regulated and well-governed initiative, where the impact is greater than the sum of individual contributions.
    - It offers an opportunity to become positive contributors to society.
    - Donations help drive momentum in Africa, a continent facing challenges like colonialism, tyranny, and divisive political regimes such as apartheid.
